ReUp – Recovery of Stopped-Out Students

We have partnered with ReUp Education to identify, reengage, and support students who have stopped out before completing their degrees. Through this collaboration, participating universities help former students return to higher education, overcome barriers to reenrollment, and complete their academic and career goals.

ReUp combines data analytics, personalized communication, and human coaching to reconnect students with the right opportunities at their home institution. This work increases degree completion, enhances institutional effectiveness, and advances the shared mission of improving access, affordability, and student achievement.

How It Works

  1. Identify: Participating campuses collaborate with ReUp to analyze enrollment data and identify students who have stopped out.
  2. Engage: ReUp’s team of trained success coaches reach out directly to students through personalized, multi-channel communication.
  3. Support: Coaches help students address financial, academic, and personal barriers to returning.
  4. Reenroll: Students are guided through the reenrollment process and supported as they transition back into coursework and through subsequent semesters.
  5. Sustain: Institutions receive ongoing insights and reporting to inform long-term student success strategies.
