The Council for Academic Technology and Innovative Education (CATIE) advances the educational mission of Texas A&M University System member institutions by fostering the effective use of technology in course and program design, development, delivery, and assessment. Serving as an advisory body to the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, CATIE provides informed recommendations on emerging trends, best practices, and strategic initiatives that enhance technology-supported teaching and learning.
Through collaboration and expertise, CATIE members guide system-wide efforts to integrate innovative instructional technologies, improve digital learning environments, and support faculty and student success. By promoting research-driven approaches and sharing proven strategies, the council ensures that technology-enriched education remains adaptable, effective, and aligned with the evolving needs of higher education.
