Adopted Digital Accessibility Standard

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. We follow WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards per Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

As a government agency, we recognize that our information is largely considered to be in the public domain. As such, we are committed to making our web pages accessible according to the standards established by:

• Information and Communication Technology – Revised 508 Standards and 255 Guidelines
• Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) Statewide Electronic and Information Resources (EIR) Accessibility guidelines.

Our goal is that anyone should be able to access our web page effectively the same whether or not they have a disability. If you use assistive technology and the format of any material on our web sites interferes with your ability to access the information, please contact the manager of microcomputers and network support at tamus-webmaster@tamus.edu
