USDA Turns to Texas A&M Regent John Bellinger in Fight Against New World Screwworm

As federal and state officials ramp up efforts to stop the spread of New World screwworm in Texas, the USDA has tapped Texas cattleman, food safety entrepreneur, and A&M System Regent John Bellinger to help lead the response.

Following USDA APHIS confirmation of New World screwworm in Texas, Texas A&M AgriLife experts are supporting response efforts and providing resources to help protect livestock, wildlife, animal health and public health statewide.
