AI, Innovative & Emerging Technologies
The Artificial Intelligence, Innovative & Emerging Technologies Work Group equips faculty with the knowledge and resources to explore and integrate cutting-edge technologies into teaching and learning. By curating and sharing AI-related resources, fostering collaboration, and promoting best practices, the group empowers educators to leverage emerging technologies to enhance student engagement and academic success across the A&M System.
AI Toolkit for Teaching & Learning
The AI Toolkit for Teaching & Learning provides practical, system-aligned guidance for faculty and academic leaders who want to integrate artificial intelligence into instruction thoughtfully and responsibly. As AI tools become more common in higher education, educators are navigating important questions about pedagogy, academic integrity, accessibility, and data privacy. This toolkit is designed to support informed decision-making by translating policy and emerging practices into clear, actionable guidance focused specifically on classroom use.
Rather than promoting any single tool or platform, the Toolkit emphasizes mission-aligned innovation, human oversight, and transparency. It offers guiding principles, instructional use cases, assessment design strategies, and privacy considerations to help faculty strengthen learning outcomes while protecting students and institutional data. The goal is not simply to adopt AI, but to use it intentionally in ways that enhance teaching effectiveness, preserve academic standards, and prepare students to engage critically and ethically with AI in their academic and professional lives.
