Quality Matters Consortium
The Texas A&M University System is committed to advancing excellence in online education through its participation in the Quality Matters (QM) Consortium. As part of our ongoing efforts to provide robust training opportunities and build long-term capacity for our faculty and staff, the QM Consortium aims to facilitate the sharing of best practices in course review processes and professional development. By investigating the most effective ways to collaborate across campuses, the consortium seeks to enhance the quality and accessibility of online learning experiences. This initiative underscores our dedication to providing a high standard of education while empowering our academic community with the tools and resources necessary for continued growth and innovation in teaching and learning.
Courses Meeting “Quality Matters Essentials”
Each Texas A&M University System member institution has adopted an internal process for preparing and reviewing online courses. Courses that have been reviewed and meet the essential standards from the Quality Matters rubric will be identified as meeting the expectations for quality assurance within the TAMU System. The following logo will be used in these courses and presented at the individual institutions. Please contact your QM coordinator at your institution for more information.
