The Military-Connected Employee Resource Group (ERG) at The Texas A&M University System Offices is a community for employees who share a military connection. Whether you are a veteran, National Guard or Reserve member, military spouse, caregiver, or family member, this ERG exists to support, connect, and celebrate you.
The mission of the Military-Connected ERG is to create a supportive network for employees with a military connection. Through community-building, collaboration with veteran- and military-serving organizations, and professional development, we strive to:
Empower our members.
Provide access to resources.
Recognize the valuable contributions of service members, veterans, spouses, caregivers, and families across our organization.
Membership is open to all employees of The Texas A&M University System Offices who have a military connection – service members, veterans, National Guard or Reserve members, military spouses, caregivers, or family members.
The Military-Connected ERG provides opportunities to:
Build connections with colleagues across the System.
Participate in professional development and leadership opportunities.
Learn about and share resources that support military-connected employees.
Engage with veteran- and military-serving organizations at the local, state, and national levels.
Celebrate and honor military service through events and recognition.
The ERG is employee-led and co-chaired by Monteigne Long, Director of Veteran & Military Services, and Matt Henley, Executive Director, Office of Facilities Planning & Construction.
