System Policy and System Regulations on Civil Rights

System Policy 08.01 provides civil rights protections to employees, students, applicants for employment and admission, and the public based on race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other classification protected by federal, state, or local law.ย  System Regulation 08.01.01 provides oversight on compliance with the policy. System Regulation 08.01.02 provides oversight on providing accommodations based on a protected class. System Regulation 08.01.03ย  describes the civil rights complaint resolution process. The additional appendices provide information on related areas of compliance and have been approved by the A&M System Chancellor.
