System Staff Council<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>The purpose of the System Offices Staff Council is to provide A&amp;M System Offices employees with a forum for raising, discussing, and making recommendations on current policy and procedures to enable them to better serve A&amp;M System Offices, The Texas A&amp;M University System, and the State of Texas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Staff Council is committed to assessing, prioritizing, and communicating staff needs, and to responding to those needs through the implementation of developmental programs and job-enhancing initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>GOALS<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide a means of communication between System Offices staff and administration to articulate staff concerns and recommendations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expand System Offices employee recognition programs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promote camaraderie and interdepartmental cooperation among System Offices employees.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide staff development opportunities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide community involvement opportunities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide funding for Staff Council operation and activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>ACTIVITIES<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The following is a list of activities suggested by A&amp;M System Offices employees that the Staff Council sponsors:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>System Offices Staff Scholarship Program<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>System Offices Employee of the Quarter Award<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>System Offices Outstanding Employee Service Award<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>System Offices Outstanding Student Employee of the Semester Award<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>System Offices Years of Service Award<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>System Offices Annual Employee Picnic<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>System Offices Annual Night at the Bombers Family Event<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>System Offices staff development activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Host ice cream socials<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Host lunch fundraisers for scholarships<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sponsor a holiday charity
