Ms. Mati Rigsby is earning a five-year Bachelor of Science in Public Health and Master of Public Health in Epidemiology & Biostatistics degree from Texas A&M University. In the summer of 2021, she has an internship with the Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) and Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR).
Ms. Rigsby is passionate about public service and volunteers with Aggie ACHIEVEMates, for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She conducts public health research as a Health and Wellness Ambassador, and engages with faculty as the student representative on the School of Public Health Curriculum Committee.
Ms. Rigsby was appointed Student Regent of The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents by Governor Greg Abbott. She is serving a one-year term to expire May 31, 2022.
