Elizabeth “Annie” Valicek

Ms. Annie Valicek, a Houston native, is a senior agricultural business and economics major at West Texas A&M University (WTAMU), in Canyon, Texas.

Annie is the immediate past student body president at WTAMU and plans to attend law school after graduation. She is a founding member of West Texas’ Collegiate Farm Bureau, serves as a WTAMU agricultural ambassador, and is chair of career and personal development for Chi Omega sorority.

Ms. Valicek has interned with the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association and Sprouse Shared Smith PLLC. This past summer, she was a governmental affairs intern at American Farm Bureau Federation in Washington, D.C.

Since serving as a Texas FFA state officer, Annie enjoys mentoring FFA members as well as leading a church youth group. Most importantly, Annie cherishes her family: Kristin, Ed ’91, Alex ’23 and Emily Valicek. Ms. Valicek was appointed Student Regent of The Texas A&M University System by Governor Greg Abbott. She is serving a one-year term to expire May 31, 2024.
