Charles Merriweather practices in the Health and Business Affairs section. He advises A&M System members on matters related to a wide variety of commercial transactions and software agreements. Additionally, he reviews the athletics contracts for all ten system universities with an athletics department.<\/p>\n
Prior to joining OGC, Charles spent three years with the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) as their Public Information and Compliance Officer. In that role he fulfilled all of TDEM\u2019s Public Information Requests, as well as, created and implemented TDEM\u2019s compliance, risk management, and export control programs. Outside of his TDEM experience he worked for the Missouri State Senate where he drafted public safety legislation and the Missouri Department of Revenue where he managed a litigation portfolio of sales tax disputes.<\/p>\n
