WHERE & WHEN TO SUBMIT INVOICES<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

OFFICE OF GENERAL COUNSEL (OGC) RELATED INVOICING:
\u2022<\/strong> Invoices must be submitted electronically to: occ@tamus.edu<\/a>
<\/span>\u2022<\/strong> Invoices must be submitted monthly, or as otherwise stated in “Addendum B” of your OCC
\u2022 NEVER<\/span><\/strong> submit invoicing (originals or copies) directly to the agency in which services were provided<\/p>\n

TECHNOLOGY COMMERCIALIZATION (TTC) RELATED INVOICING:
\u2022<\/strong> Intellectual Property (IP) contracts that provide services directly to or through TTC may submit invoices to:
TTC-OC-Invoices@tamus.edu<\/span><\/a>
\u2022<\/strong> Invoices must be submitted monthly, or as otherwise stated in “Addendum B” of your OCC
\u2022<\/strong> Firms with $0 IP contracts may continue submitting their invoices directly to agencies in which services were provided to<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

INVOICE SUBMISSION REQUIREMENT REMINDERS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> Your monthly invoice submission must include ALL<\/strong><\/span> invoices for ALL<\/span><\/strong> matters and\/or projects in which services were provided and\/or expenses occurred during the period of ONE<\/span><\/strong> calendar month ONLY<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> As of September 1, 2019, the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) will NOT<\/span><\/strong> review late invoice submissions or invoice submissions that include late invoices, unless a written statement providing the reasonable justification for the delay has been provided along with your invoice submission<\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> REQUIRED INVOICE VERIFICATION FORM<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

a. Form must be printed, completed, signed\/dated by Lead Counsel or OCC Signatory, and included with your monthly invoice submission
<\/span>b. Only one completed form is required per monthly invoice submission, per contract
<\/span>c. This form replaces the previously required “Attorney Verification<\/em>” letter provided on company letterhead<\/span><\/p>\n

4.<\/strong> Invoices that request reimbursement of expenses MUST<\/strong><\/span> include copies of the actual itemized receipt, invoice or proof of payment for all expenses incurred; copies must be placed directly behind invoice and in the same order as listed on invoice<\/p>\n
