Julie serves the System and its members in the Health & Business Affairs and Governance practice groups. Her practice focuses on contract reviews and intellectual property issues, including sponsored research, copyrights, trade secrets and licensing.\u00a0 In addition, Julie provides assistance in the areas of bankruptcy, collections, bad debt write-offs, federal contracting, international higher education activities and the Public Information Act.<\/p>\n
Julie joined the Office of General Counsel in 2016. Prior to joining OGC, Julie was a Staff Attorney in the General Law Division at the Texas General Land Office.\u00a0 Julie most recently served as a Director and Chief Ethics Officer for the TGLO and is a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP).<\/p>\n
