Welcome to the website of the System Real Estate Office (“SREO”) for The Texas A&M University System (“A&M System”). The A&M System is one of the largest systems of higher education in the nation. With a physical presence in nearly every county in the State of Texas, the A&M System employs more than 26,000 people and consists of eleven (11) universities and seven (7) state agencies which educate more than 148,000 students and reach 22 million people each year through its various service missions. In support of this infrastructure, the A&M System controls more than 64,000 surface acres and 61,000 mineral acres in the State of Texas. The SREO is responsible for oversight control of the A&M System’s real property and for providing information regarding the A&M System’s land and mineral holdings to the Board of Regents and the respective A&M System Members.
Using the links on the right, you will find the SREO’s Rate and Fee Schedule, a link to the Landowner’s Bill of Rights, and general information concerning some of the A&M System properties currently available for Lease and for Sale. As an additional service, we have also included an area for other Real Estate Links, which allow access to some of our favorite real estate-related websites.
