Note that if the donation is not related to a serious health condition of the employee or immediate family member then the donation is taxable to the person donating.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><strong>Resources<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>System Regulation <a href=\"https:\/\/policies.tamus.edu\/31-06-02.pdf\">31.06.02 Sick Leave Donation<\/a> provides the opportunity for an employee to donate sick leave to an eligible employee in accordance to state law.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tamus.edu\/assets\/files\/hr\/forms\/36F.pdf\">Sick Leave Pool Medical Certification Form for Employee&#8217;s Family Member&#8217;s Serious Health Condition Health<\/a> care provider for an employee to request hours from the Sick Leave Pool for a family member\u2019s serious health condition. (HR 36F 7\/09)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tamus.edu\/assets\/files\/hr\/forms\/1771-D.pdf\">Sick Leave Direct\u00a0Donation \u2013 Donor\u00a0Form<\/a>\u00a0To be used by employees to donate unused sick leave hours to another employee. (HR 1771-D 1\/16)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tamus.edu\/assets\/files\/hr\/forms\/1771-R.pdf\">Sick Leave Direct\u00a0Donation \u2013 Recipient Form<\/a>\u00a0To be used by employees to\u00a0accept a direct donation of unused sick leave hours\u00a0from another employee. (HR 1771-R 1\/16)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tamus.edu\/assets\/files\/hr\/forms\/36E.pdf\">Sick Leave Pool\/Direct Donation\u00a0Medical Certification Form for Employee\u2019s Serious Health Condition<\/a>\u00a0To be completed by employee\u2019s health care provider for an employee to request hours from the Sick Leave Pool for his\/her own serious health condition.
