{"id":38222,"date":"2024-01-19T20:17:57","date_gmt":"2024-01-19T20:17:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tamus.edu\/hr\/?page_id=38222"},"modified":"2024-01-21T15:11:59","modified_gmt":"2024-01-21T15:11:59","slug":"administrative-leave-with-pay","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.tamus.edu\/hr\/employees\/timeoff\/administrative-leave-with-pay\/","title":{"rendered":"Administrative Leave with Pay"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col\">\n<div class=\"mb-3 pt-5 sub-page \">\n<p class=\"lead\"><span style=\"font-family: var(--global-body-font-family)\">Administrative Leave With Pay is a non-monetary reward given to recognize outstanding performance that consistently exceeds expected or required productivity or exceptional contributions by employees performing special projects of significant importance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col pr-md-4 pr-lg-5\">\n<div class=\"row mb-3\">\n<div class=\"col\">\n<h2>General Provisions<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Up to 32 hours of administrative leave may be granted to an employee per fiscal year;<\/li>\n<li>Administrative leave may be granted only in four or eight-hour increments;<\/li>\n<li>Only employees in a leave-eligible position may be awarded Administrative Leave;\u00a0<em>and<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Administrative leave should be taken within 12 months of the grant of the award with the provision that the employee is notified (in writing is recommended) of the date in which the awarded hours must be used.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Administrators:<\/strong> Any exception to the 12-month deadline referenced above (less than or more than 12 months) must be approved.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Administrative Leave With Pay is a non-monetary reward given to recognize outstanding performance that consistently exceeds expected or required productivity or exceptional contributions by employees performing special projects of significant importance. &nbsp;
