All new degree programs to be offered at the RELLIS Academic Alliance must fulfill the Criteria to offer programs at RELLIS<\/strong><\/a> and complete the following approvals and notification processes.<\/p>

Process for RELLIS Approval<\/strong>:<\/p>

  1. Submit proposed degree to RELLIS using form and flowchart of criteria for approval<\/li>
  2. Review new degree proposal at RELLIS Advisory Committee<\/li>
  3. Notify provosts of new degrees at CAO meeting<\/li><\/ol>

    Process for A&M System and THECB Approval:<\/strong><\/p>

    1. Institution secures A&M System approval and notifies THECB
      1. Completed the form for approving a new degree being offered by distance education and email it to A&M System Academic Affairs (academicaffairs@tamus.edu) (Attn: Stacey Silverman, Ph.D.)<\/li>
      2. THECB requires notification within 50 miles of the institution. This is currently done individually when institutions submit the form to A&M System Academic Affairs who then submits it to THECB.<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol>

        Annual Notifications for all programs<\/strong>
        The RELLIS Academic Alliance Advisory Committee will review programs annually and submit a list of degree programs to A&M System Academic Affairs (academicaffairs@tamus.edu) (Attn: Stacey Silverman, Ph.D.) who will submit the notification to THECB.<\/p>
