Academic Affairs Approval Process

As the A&M System universities continue to expand their academic programs in response to their strategic plans, specific guidelines shall be followed to remain in compliance with Texas A&M System, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB). Along with these guidelines the A&M System Office of Academic Affairs provides the following submission/approval process resources:

19-04 BOR August 7-9, 2019 Meeting

Academic Affairs Agenda Item Due Dates: 

  • May 13th: Deadline to submit – Degree Programs, Centers and Institutes
  • May 28th: Deadline to submit – Administrative Changes, Emeritus, Faculty Development Leave, Tenure, and all other academic items.
