Overview

Laserfiche is a complete enterprise document content services system that combines powerful capture, processing, storage, retrieval and distribution of your documents and records.  In addition to enterprise content management, Laserfiche provides drag-and-drop digital task automation for a more efficient business process operation.  Built-in security, auditing, and DoD 5015.2-certified records management functionality support Texas A&M University System records retention requirements.  Texas A&M University’s Division of IT provides system administration and support.

Recommended Web Browser

The Google Chrome is strongly recommended when using Laserfiche.

Using other web browsers (e.g. Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, etc.) may result in loss of functionality and inability to complete desired tasks.  TAMU IT is aware of these issues and is working with the vendor on a fix.

How to Request a Laserfiche User Account

The newly expanded master agreement provides licenses for faculty, staff, student and community access.  However, each person will need to have a user account created by TAMU IT before they can access Laserfiche.  To request a user account, please send an email request to academicaffairs@tamus.edu and include the following information:

Subject Line:  Laserfiche Form User Account Request

  1. UIN (Universal Identification Number)
  2. TAMU NetID

How to Claim your TAMU NetID

  1. Open an internet web browser, and go to https://gateway.tamu.edu/.
  2. Click Claim Your NetID.
  3. Enter your UIN.
  4. Click Save & Continue.
  5. Follow the on-screen prompts.
