KWTS 91.1 FM is a non-commercial, student-operated college radio station located on the West Texas A&M campus.

The Eternal Flame, located at the west entrance to campus, was constructed in 1966 by the WTAMU Alumni Association. It represents the burning desire and quest for knowledge and is featured on the university’s logo and seal.
- Four undergraduate degree programs and three masters’ level programs at WTAMU can be completed totally online. WTOnline has offered more than 1,500 classes via the Internet since 2000.
- WTAMU’s Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum is the largest history museum in Texas. It houses more than three million artifacts and is visited by about 70,000 patrons each year.
- West Texas A&M’s Virtual Math Lab, which has been cited by authorities for excellence in providing mathematics tutorials, gets more than a million hits from around the world each year.
