Texas A&M Health Science Center given land in Bryan for expansion
The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents has authorized acceptance of a gift of 200 acres on State Highway 47 in Bryan so that programs of the Texas A&M Health Science Center based in Bryan/College Station can be consolidated on a single campus.

Ground broken for dining hall at Tarleton
Tarleton State University administrators and others broke ground Nov. 15 for a 42,000-square-foot dining hall that will replace the existing structure, which was built in 1928.
