TEEX receives $22 million for homeland security training
The National Emergency Response and Rescue Training Center, a part of the Texas
Engineering Extension Service, will receive $22 million through the 2006 Homeland
Security Appropriations Bill to provide homeland security training, exercises
and technical assistance to the nation’s emergency responders.
