Pathways to the Doctorate

The Texas A&M University System Pathways to the Doctorate program is designed to enable the pursuit of doctorate in a diverse, intellectually versatile and multidisciplinary environment to assure global impact. The program is dedicated to increasing the number, quality, and diversity of master's and doctoral graduates across all disciplines by:
- creating pathways for talented Texas A&M System students to pursue graduate education
- fostering opportunities for innovative research collaborations
- producing new faculty to help close the gaps in higher education in Texas.

2008 Pathways Fellowship Faculty Awardees
Pathways Symposium Set for Nov. 7-8
Students, faculty and staff are invited to attend the Sixth Annual Texas A&M System Pathways to the Doctorate Student Research Symposium on Nov. 7-8 at Texas A&M University-Commerce. During the symposium, students can present their research via a poster competition, view work by other students, and meet faculty and staff representing Texas A&M system schools. Faculty and staff can view work by students and interact one-on-one with students interested in attending Texas A&M University or other system schools. Click here for information about the symposium.

Texas A&M System institutions are making assistantships and/or scholarships available to students from within the A&M System wishing to pursue graduate study at another system institution. Click here for more information.
