Of the First-Time Freshmen enrolled in Fall 2008, 20% graduated in the top 10% and 30 graduated in the top 25%. Each of these are 1% lower than the Fall 2007 class. The average ACT score is 18 and the average SAT score is 876.

Texas A&M International's Office of Financial Aid packages automatically with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Student’s package includes: federal, state and institutional grants plus federal and state loan programs. Students must complete a financial aid folder before any aid can be released. *Grants are offered based on Estimated Family Contribution (EFC), estimated/actual hours plus any other program required criteria. *Loans are offered based on the Estimated Family Contribution (EFC), estimated/actual hours plus any other program required criteria. *Work study and employment on campus is available to students thru our Student Employment Program. *Academic scholarships are awarded to those who apply based on scholarship requirements and committee review. *Texas A&M International University also accepts the Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) for Texas residents who cannot submit the FAFSA application.
