Andrea Pereira Andrea Pereira practices in both the Business Law & Intellectual Property and Institutional Compliance areas. In her business law practice she handles a wide range of transactional and corporate matters, including public/private partnerships, international programs and agreements, health law and general business law matters. In her compliance practice, she provides advice on legal compliance issues and drafting compliance programs, including in the areas of health law, immigration law and export controls. Andrea joined the Office of General Counsel in June 2010. Prior to joining OGC, she was a senior attorney with the law firm of Andrews Kurth LLP and her practice included various corporate and securities matters with an emphasis in the energy and oilfield services industries. Andrea also worked for 5 years as an associate with the law firm of Dechert LLP in Philadelphia, PA and her practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, including cross-border transactions, private equity transactions, securities offerings, corporate finance and governance issues. |
