Timothy V. Coffey Managing Counsel, Property & Construction
Tim is Managing Counsel for the Property and Construction section. His practice is concentrated in the areas of real property and construction. He has direct oversight of the System Real Estate Office, which provides centralized real estate services to all members of the A&M System.
Tim joined the Office of General Counsel in May of 2005. He received his B.B.A. from Texas A&M University in 1973. He served five years as an officer in the United States Army before attending law school at Texas Tech University, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, and where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Texas Tech Law Review. He is certified in Commercial Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas.
