The FAMIS User Representatives at each of The Texas A&M University System members are available to help you with your training and use of FAMIS. In addition, FAMIS Services at the A&M System provides the following training, as needed.
Training Courses Available
Centra eMeeting provides a method for conducting FAMIS and CANOPY workshops or training sessions using web technology. It facilitates distributed learning for a group of people who are participating from their own offices. The Centra Leader from the FAMIS Services Staff schedules the eMeeting and sends invitations to those who have expressed an interest in attending. At the appointed time, attendees log into the Centra website to participate in the session. This technique has already been used for demonstrating the features of CANOPY and can be used for instruction on any modules of FAMIS. Please contact FAMIS Services for further information.
