FAMIS AVAILABILITY REMINDERS
There is a regularly scheduled system outage on Sunday mornings which could affect your FAMIS access until noon each week. This outage is scheduled by the Computing Information Services department at TAMU. The time is needed to run programs or patches affecting all systems on the mainframe, including FAMIS, Canopy, DDRINT/INFOVIEW.
The "OK" status message on the FAMIS home web page only refers to availability Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.
Hummingbird (Host Explorer 14)
The "Hummingbird" link on our home web page now points to instructions provided by TAMU Help Desk Central. Their web site provides links for installing Entire Connection, setting up Open Text HostExplorer 14 (Hummingbird), and instructions/download file for those of you who use a Mac computer.
FAMIS User Services staff members can help you with using Hummingbird after you have the software installed, but you need to contact Help Desk Central if you require assistance with the installation.
If you forget your FAMIS password, or need to have it reset, contact your FAMIS Security Administrator.
eTravel - Travel and Expense System
eTravel, Concur, Concur forms can be found on the following web page: http://www.tamus.edu/offices/travel/
If you have a question about Concur, contact one of the Concur Operational Team Members for your campus. For Concur access questions, contact your Concur Security Administrator. If you forget your Concur/SSO password, please contact your SSO Administrator.
