The Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity serves as the liaison between System components and various state and federal agencies concerned with equal opportunity. These include the Division of Civil Rights of the Texas Workforce Commission, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (U.S. Department of Labor), and the offices of civil rights within the various federal departments.
