On Feb. 11, 2011, the RASS Development and Implementation Steering Committee (DISC) met to discuss implementation planning.

Following their meeting, this memorandum was issued by Chief Research Officer Dr. Jeffrey R. Seemann

As per the memorandum, the steering committee is scheduled to meet weekly from Feb. 11 through late March, during which the following communications and activities have taken place:

• Draft Roster of RASS DISC Working Groups w/Focus Areas (March 3, 2011)
• Working Draft of RASS Proposed Plan and Model submitted to RASS DISC from the Subcommittee on Structural/Operational Development & Implementation, including appendices w/updated working group rosters, a proposed implementation timeline, overview of anticipated services, current practices, and current MAESTRO timeline (March 11, 2011)
• Final Draft of Proposed Plan and Model for the Office of Sponsored Research Services submitted to the Board of Regents by the RASS DISC (March 21, 2011)
• Executive Summary of Proposed Plan and Model (March 21, 2011)
