38) Why do I get the warning message, “PEOPLE FILE TOTAL NOT ADJUSTED BECAUSE OF ORIGINAL PAID DATE”, on my Payroll Preparation Errors Report (A13R001)?

The Year-To-Date amounts and the Fiscal-Year-To-Date amounts in BPP are normally added to during every payroll calculation.

The exceptions are:

  1. The Year-To-Date amounts are not added to when the original paid year does not match the current year for the pay date being calculated.
  2. The Fiscal-Year-To-Date amounts are not added to when none of the source pay period falls within the current fiscal year.

The warning message “PEOPLE FILE TOTAL NOT ADJUSTED BECAUSE OF ORIGINAL PAID DATE” is generated for each source where both exceptions occur. This warning does not prevent the source being paid
